Dress flat washers are named because they are used to dress up a product. Machined from round stock, they present a finished appearance from all sizes, and front and back. There is no die break on the sides of these washers, as they were produced in Lathes rather than stamped from a coil. Used on face plates, exercise equipment, high quality architectural hardware, medical and optical instruments, and anywhere that a good looking strong product is required. Extra thick material is used to increase both the strength and the appearance. 303 Series Stainless Steel provides both strength and corrosion resistance.
